This one day comprehensive workshop includes lectures and a field exercise that identifies commonly occurring hydric soil indicators in Florida.
We operate as a charitable and educational association, to foster the wise use of soils and the understanding of the importance of soils to the environment and humankind.
Each fall, FAESS holds its annual business meeting at a different location in Florida with a field trip to observe nearby soils and landscapes.
